Abrams P-1 Explorer Photo Gallery
Designed by Talbert Abrams, the Abrams P-1 Explorer was a dedicated photo-survey aircraft from the late 1930s. Despite proving a reasonable design (apart from loud engine noise), the project development was delayed by the outbreak of the Second World War and by 1945 it was found to be obsolete! Only one aircraft was built.
