The Consolidated TBY-2 Sea Wolf was a contemporary of the Grumman TVF Avenger, but was delayed so much it missed seeing combat. However, some radar equipped airframes did enter post-war service. First flight 22 December 1941. Number built 180 + 1 prototype.
