Consolidated B-32 Dominator Photo Gallery
The Consolidated B-32 Dominator was developed by Consolidated Aircraft in parallel with the Boeing B-29 Superfortress as a fallback design should the B-29 prove unsuccessful. It had the distinction of being the last Allied aircraft to be engaged in combat during World War II. The engagement happened soon after VJ Day and the damaged B-32 made it safely home. First flight 7 September 1942. Number built 118.
