Chance-Vought OS2U-3 "Kingfisher", 1940 - (scan - 1989)

First US Navy scout/observation plane to incorporate monoplane wing design for catapulting from cruisers and battleships, the "Kingfisher" was designed by Rex Beisel, creator of the F4U Corsair.
